Volunteers

To support the vision of 100% adoption rates, you can give of your time and help as a volunteer. There is a volunteer opportunity for every person. Please let us know what your interests are and you can play an active role in saving companion animals across our county.

Adult volunteers should contact the Shelter in person or call 979-285-2340, x104, or 979-849-6900. Please don’t be aggravated if your call goes to an answering machine. We rarely answer the phone before the answering machine picks up, but we check messages frequently. We would rather use the money it would take to pay someone to always answer the phones to take care of the animals in our shelter!
